Legislative Advisory Board Member
Cale Case is a Republican member of the Wyoming State Senate, representing Senate District 25 in Fremont County, in the Lander area. He first won election to the Wyoming House of Representatives in 1992 and has served in the State Senate since 1999, making him one of the chamber’s longest-serving members. He chairs the Joint Corporations, Elections and Political Subdivisions Committee, a post he has held for many years, and also chairs the Joint Tribal Relations Select Committee and a select committee on legislative facilities and process.
An economist by training and trade, Case holds a doctorate in resource economics from the University of Wyoming and is president of Case and Company, an economic consulting firm specializing in public utility, energy, regulatory, and resource economics. That background informs his work on the Joint Revenue Committee and his standing in Wyoming’s debates over energy, utilities, and mineral taxation, the fiscal core of the state’s economy.
Senator Case serves on the Council for a Secure America’s Legislative Advisory Board (LAB), anchoring CSA’s engagement in Wyoming, one of the organization’s closest natural fits on energy security.
