Jennifer Sutton

Executive Director

Jennifer Sutton is the Founding Executive Director of the Council for a Secure America (CSA), a nonpartisan organization dedicated to strengthening U.S. national security through energy security, strategic alliances, and informed foreign policy. Since 2014, she has led the organization’s growth into a nationally recognized institution that convenes policymakers, industry leaders, diplomats, academics, and civic stakeholders to address critical geopolitical and energy security challenges.

Over the past decade, Jennifer has briefed elected officials, senior government officials, and industry executives in Washington, D.C., state capitals, and international forums. She has moderated high-level policy discussions, hosted prominent thought leaders and decision-makers, and led delegations to energy-producing regions across the United States and the Middle East. Through her work, she has helped foster dialogue between public and private sector leaders and advance understanding of the strategic links between energy, security, and global affairs.

Earlier in her career, Jennifer served at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C., and has also worked with startups, family offices, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic initiatives.

Jennifer holds a B.A. in Politics from Washington and Lee University and an M.A. in Government from Johns Hopkins University. She is proficient in French and Hebrew and is a proud native New Yorker.
