Vice Chair and Director
Jason Taubman Kalisman serves as Vice Chair and a Director of the Council for a Secure America. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Talisman Group Investments LLC, an investment firm focused on the debt and equity of real estate-related companies, which he established in 2012.
Mr. Kalisman previously served on the board of Morgans Hotel Group, where he was Chairman and served as interim Chief Executive Officer from 2013 to 2015. He co-founded OTK Associates, which became Morgans Hotel Group’s largest shareholder. Earlier in his career he worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and London, in the firm’s real estate and structured products groups, and at GEM Realty Capital.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Harvard College and a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and he is a CFA charterholder.
