President and Chief Executive Officer
Anne Bradbury is President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Exploration & Production Council (AXPC), the national trade association representing many of the country’s leading independent oil and natural gas exploration and production companies. She was named CEO in December 2019, becoming the first woman to lead the organization.
Before joining AXPC, Ms. Bradbury spent more than a decade on Capitol Hill, where she served as Floor Director to two successive Speakers of the House, Paul Ryan and John Boehner, and as Deputy Floor Director in the offices of both the Majority Leader and the Minority Leader. Earlier in her congressional career she served as Legislative Director to Representative Charles Boustany. In those roles she worked across national security, intelligence, health care, energy, transportation, trade, and education policy.
Following her congressional service and prior to AXPC, Ms. Bradbury was a partner at The Duberstein Group, a Washington government affairs firm. She also serves on the boards of the Congressional Institute and the Eluna Network. She is a graduate of the University of Richmond, with a double major in International Studies and Political Science.
