President
Richard Altman is President of Richard Altman & Associates in Vienna, Virginia, and brings to the Council a long career of work and volunteerism in the American Jewish community and beyond. He previously served as National Coordinator and Deputy General Counsel of AIPAC, and later as President and Executive Director of National PAC, which he grew from roughly 1,000 to 60,000 members over a tenure of more than a decade. Earlier in his career, he worked as professional staff on the House Appropriations Subcommittee for Labor, Health and Human Services.
Mr. Altman holds a B.A. in Public and International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
