Director
Matt Most previously served as Acting Co-Chairman Emeritus and now serves as a Director of the Council for a Secure America. He is the co-founder and CEO of the SHEFA Innovation Foundry, an energy technology platform that connects North American energy companies with the Israeli startup community.
Before founding SHEFA, Mr. Most was Vice President of Government Relations at Ovintiv (formerly Encana Oil and Gas), where his team led U.S. policy initiatives and managed the company’s governmental relationships. Earlier at Encana he led Encana Natural Gas, providing compressed and liquefied natural gas fueling solutions across a range of industries. He came to Encana in 2010 from Edison Mission Energy, where he held a series of energy trading and environmental policy positions, and he served for three years as Chairperson of the Environmental Markets Association. He began his career in roles at Waste Management and in the brokerage industry.
Mr. Most is a longtime leader in Colorado’s Jewish community. He chairs the Jewish Community Relations Council of JEWISHcolorado, serves on the Anti-Defamation League’s National Commission, and has held board roles with organizations including the Children’s Museum of Denver and the Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Clark University and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
