Director
Brooke Baum serves as a Director of the Council for a Secure America. She is Vice President of Public and Government Affairs at Devon Energy, one of the leading independent oil and natural gas producers in the United States, where she leads the company’s advocacy for its business interests and oversees its external affairs and sustainability functions.
Ms. Baum has spent her career at Devon Energy, joining the Oklahoma City-based company in 2013 and advancing through roles in strategic planning, regulatory affairs, sustainability, and external affairs before assuming her current vice presidency. Devon Energy is a longstanding CSA partner, and she brings to the Board direct experience in U.S. domestic energy production and the policy environment shaping it.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
