Parker Moore

Republican, Alabama House of Representatives, District 4
Member, Legislative Advisory Board

Parker Moore is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, where he has represented District 4 since 2018. The district covers parts of Limestone and Morgan counties in the Tennessee Valley of north Alabama. Moore first won the seat in a May 2018 special election, succeeding Micky Hammon, and has held it since. In the 2025-2026 term he serves as vice chair of the Fiscal Responsibility Committee and sits on the Transportation, Utilities and Infrastructure Committee and the Boards, Agencies and Commissions Committee. He is also vice chair of the Limestone County Legislation Committee. He holds no chamber-wide leadership post.

Moore was born in Decatur in 1989 and earned a degree in political science from the University of Alabama. Outside the legislature he worked as a north Alabama marketing representative for Encore Rehabilitation. His seat on the Transportation, Utilities and Infrastructure Committee gives him a role in the chamber’s work on utility and infrastructure policy. The Tennessee Valley region his district occupies is a center of Alabama power generation, including TVA’s Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Limestone County, and that regional grounding in energy and infrastructure informs his service on the Council for a Secure America Legislative Advisory Board.
