Sandy Eisenstat is President of Abjac Energy Corporation, a closely held entity that has engaged in oil and gas exploration in the U.S., Canada and Israel. He is on the Board of the North European Oil Royalty Trust, a NYSE listed company that holds royalty interest on gas production in Germany. Until he stepped down in March, 2011, for 26 years he was a Board Member and Independent Chairman of a publicly traded mutual fund/annuity complex with assets under management in excess of $12 billion.
He has been involved in the following organizations: Vice President of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), President of Congregation Kehelath Jeshurun in NYC, Executive Committee-Independent Directors Council, President of The American Israel Friendship League and Chairman of the Salute to Israel Parade , NYC.
Mr. Eisenstat served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York from 1966-1969. He received B.S., LL.B., LL.M(Tax) degrees from New York University and is admitted to practice law in New York State.
