North Whipple is CEO of Bison Water Midstream, Bison Technologies and Circle 9 Resources in Oklahoma City. In 2013, he founded Circle 9, a private oil and gas company targeting conventional production in eastern Oklahoma. In 2015 he began the Bison Companies, which includes Bison Water Midstream, Oklahoma’s largest commercial water infrastructure provider across the SCOOP, STACK and MERGE plays. Most recently, he launched Bison Technologies, a software platform solving B2B payments and logistics problems across the U.S. energy supply chain.
Prior to starting Circle 9 and Bison, he served as the Director of Finance for PostRock Energy, an Oklahoma City-based natural gas company, and as an Analyst for Berenson & Co., a New York City-based boutique investment bank. North is a Chicago-native and received his Bachelor Degree from Brown University.
