Neil Goldstein serves as co-Managing Member of Abgold Capital Management, LLC which is engaged in a joint venture to deploy hydrogen fuel cell refueling systems both in the U.S. and overseas … with particular attention to Israel’s energy needs.

Previously, Mr. Goldstein served as Executive Vice President and CEO of two not-for-profit corporations: The Israel Energy Partnership (TIEP), a philanthropic [501(c)(3)] organization formed to support U.S.-Israel collaboration on alternative energy R&D, and Energy Alternatives for the 21st Century (EA-21), an advocacy [501(c)(4)] organization that worked for changes in U.S. energy policy to reduce America’s dependence on OPEC. His efforts at TIEP included creation and coordination of the U.S.-Israel Bio-Energy Challenge – a scientific and entrepreneurial exchange between U.S. and Israeli scientists and industry leaders to promote their future collaboration.

Prior to his work in the energy sector, he served as Executive Director of the American Jewish Congress from 2002-2008, where he devised the U.S.-Israel Energy Cooperation Act and led the team that then successfully worked for its enactment as § 917 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. Before that he served as Northeast Director of the America Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Before that Mr. Goldstein served from 1992-1996 as Chief of Staff for Congressman Jerrold Nadler of New York.

Neil Goldstein is a graduate of MIT with a degree in Life Sciences (SB) and a second degree (SB) in Humanities and Science.
