Lieutenant Colonel Sarit Zehavi is the Founder and president of the Alma Research and Education Center. She served for 15 years in the
Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Corps, initially in research and analysis and later with the Northern Command. Zehavi holds an M.A. in
Middle East Studies from Ben-Gurion University in Israel.
She held informative in-depth briefings in Washington, D.C. with United States senators and representatives to advise them on security
developments in Lebanon and Syria and is recognized world-wide as an expert authority and impactful speaker on the security issues facing Israel today.
Sarit Zehavi was selected by the Jerusalem Post as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Jews of 2021 Sarit lives with her husband and five children in the village of Kfar Vradim, in the Western Galilee.
