The album belonged to Marion Varian, who I believe was the daughter or daughter in law of Civil War Colonel Joshua Marsden Varian. They were a well known, wealthy family from New York and Connecticut. Overall this lot is in very good or better antique condition, some minor age related issues like light foxing, light bends on the tintypes.
