Isaac ‘Yitz’ Applbaum is Chief Evangelist for Radius Corporation, a Predictive Marketing Company in the small and medium business market. He’s also a Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Jerusalem for Public Private Partnerships – a role which takes him to Jerusalem every month.
He was previously a Founding General Partner of Opus Capital, an early stage venture fund, and before that a Partner and Managing Director for Israel at Lightspeed Venture Partners (another early stage VC firm). Prior to this, Yitz was the founder and CEO of Concorde Solutions Inc, which he sold to Bank of America in 1991 (becoming a Senior Vice President at the bank, with responsibility for running its E-ventures group and advising the strategic investments group).
Yitz currently serves on the Boards of California Israel Chamber of Commerce, Western Wall Heritage Foundation, MEOR, Shalem College, and The American Action Network. He is an advisor to Secure Key Corporation and Roam Analytics Corporation, and a member of the Young Presidents Organization. He is also an avid collector of Israeli and Kosher wines and is the wine columnist for the Jewish Insider.
